EDWARD R. ROYBAL FEDERAL BUILDING

Role: Prime Subcontractor | Contract Management
Client: Stronghold Engineering, Inc. – GSA, PBS, Design & Construction Division
CB Contract: $800K
Project Cost: $19M
Completion: Spring 2018

Creative Builds had the opportunity to work with Stronghold Engineering Inc. on the building upgrade and the reconfiguration of portions of the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building – creating workspace for a new tenant mix.

This project facilitated the consolidation of the remaining federal court functions, Magistrate Courts, District Court Clerk and Pretrial Services from the similarly named United States Courthouse and Post Office to the Roybal Courthouse. The project also include repurposing some of the existing courtrooms into general office space for the U.S. District Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Circuit Library and Pretrial Services to create more efficient workspaces.
