Creative Builds was thrilled to work with Stronghold Engineering Inc. and Johnson Controls on the Frank Hagel Federal Building, which experienced a partial seismic upgrade and related improvements due to the impact of the architectural finishes and MEP upgrades.

The building complex did not meet seismic safety standards, so the steel moment frame, frame base anchorage, selected gravity system, precast concrete cladding and auditorium roof were modified. This complicated project involved hazardous material abatement and was performed in phases to allow for the continued use of the building.
