Creative Builds was thrilled when Design X Architecture approached us to work on San Diego Magazine’s office overhaul. The once stark space was redesigned to match the magazine’s brand and the spirit of the city it represents – with a color palette inspired by the ocean and a collection of art work replicating the covers of past editions.

This office remodel included not only a change in paint color and flooring, but a complete overhaul of the conference room, kitchen, reception and common areas. A major change took place in the kitchen, where we turned a once closed off space into an open, collaborative workspace – by knocking down several walls and taking over an adjacent office. We were excited to be part of this renovation that gave the members of the San Diego Magazine team a place that reflects their creativity.
